Board Workshops and Key Employee Training

Our workshop leaders train Trustees and key employees in the basics of professional development using best philanthropic practices and governance guidelines. These workshops prepare volunteers to state the case using HomebaseTM -- an isabelpratt communication philosophy. We teach volunteers the importance steps of cultivation. We train solicitors how to find and fill donors’ needs. We will teach you how to overcome objections. And, finally, we will teach you how to help a donor make a philanthropic choice and close the gift.

Governance

Our workshop team leaders are experts at teaching Board governance, using case studies to help guide Boards in oversight; trustee cultivation; gap analysis; best practices and committee roles.

Annual Giving

We manage annual giving programs with volunteer solicitation and training. We also have staff working on the drive, managing and making solicitations as an organizational team member who will become known to your donors as part of your program team.

Development Events and Projects

We will establish a development calendar with recurring or one-time fundraisers aimed specifically at your donors in keeping with your particular themes and organizational mission to enhance and stabilize your development foundation.

Development staff provide expert donor research and profiles on philanthropic individuals, foundations and corporations.

Comprehensive Cultivation and Solicitation

Our president manages and personally works on every project that includes cultivation and solicitation. Staff manage correspondence and casual telephone contacts, but the delicate nature of a lead pool requires close, intimate relationship cultivation. We are expert at building close relationships fast.

We work with your volunteers or employees to manage a multi-tiered cultivation process that will culminate in a satisfactory gift. This is the most in-depth service we offer and is most often chosen by organizations, without a culture of development or a fully operational development office, who, from time to time, need development projects or campaign design and implementation.

We work in and intense and intimate way with your staff and donors and will be part of your organizational team during the project.
